Pub Stakeout – Kocsmai megfigyelés
The policeman had the bar under surveillance (megfigyelés) a few minutes before closing time, so he could see who came out drunk.
The first one came out the door at 2:00 o’clock. He weaved down (kígyózni, botorkálni) the sidewalk, then he fell on the curb (járdaszegély). He got up, then he tried his keys in five cars before he found his own car. Once he was inside his car, he fumbled (kotorászni) with his keys for 2 or 3 minutes.
Meanwhile, all the pub patrons (kuncsaft) had got into their cars and driven away. They all left this one man quite alone (teljesen egyedül) in the parking lot (parkoló).
Finally, he started his car and began to drive away very slowly. Immediately, the police car was behind him and the policeman flashed (villogni) with the lights. The policeman asked the man to take a breathalyser test (alkohol szonda). The man agreed to do it. When the display (kijelző) showed 0.0%, the policeman said, “How can this be?” The man replied, “Because tonight, I’m the designated (kijelölt) decoy (csali).”
