For vagy since használata:

Ne felejts el a következőket a for-ral és a since-szel kapcsolatban:

  • for:
    • időtartam esetén használjuk
    • jelentése: vmennyi ideje
    • a legegyszerűbb megoldás, ha akkor teszed ki, ha többes szám ill. “a” vagy “an” található az utána következő kifejezésben. Amennyiben nincs, akkor használj since-t
  • since:
    • időpontok esetén
    • jelentése: óta
